We at Danone nurture an environment that encourages initiative, knowledge sharing and innovation. We believe in providing our employees with opportunities to learn, develop, grow and follow their professional and personal goals. Our employees benefit from local and global Danone learning solutions, on-the-job training learning and coaching opportunities.
All Danoners will receive a comprehensive annual performance review of their current position. We also help assess long-term potential and identify opportunities to fulfill career ambitions.
Every Danoner also has an Individual development plan in which we keep track of career goals and personal development. Each plan will include a mixture of: work assignments, local and global training programmes, in addition to management, coaching and mentoring.
The Danone Leadership College was launched 3 years ago to train 15,000 leaders at every level of the company and now forms one of the major levers of transformation.
More than 125 business units from all four divisions embarked with the support of 470 internal trainers producing a dynamic at business level. It allows Danone to connect and improve teams more broadly in the strategy of each business unit, and through the individual and collective managerial capacities that are formalised around our group values.
In 2004 Danone launched its Networking attitude concept:
It is a means of sharing knowledge across the group areas in a geographically dispersed company and accelerating knowledge sharing across country business units (CBU’s).
Several tools were developed like: “marketplaces” and “sharing networks” that are still used today.
Today the Dan 2.0 programme with the support of our technology resources, has given a practical form to the very substantial network culture at Danone.
